This feature works for:
Account: Main Organiser Account only
Plan subscribed: All plans
Before you begin:
Things to take note:
- Make sure you have set up your organisation profile as well as changed your password
- Make sure you are aware of the differences between a Main Organiser and Sub-Organiser
There are two types of Sub-Organisers:
1. New Sub-Organisers
- This creates a brand new bantu Workspace Organiser account
2. Existing Sub-Organisers
- This adds back a previously removed Sub-Organiser account in bantu Workspace by entering their email address, as seen below:
- Since these accounts were removed before, their existing accounts do not have any projects or contact data
Instructions:
1. Click on the 'Manage My Organisation' tab on the bantu Workspace Dashboard
2. Click on the 'Sub-Organiser List' sub-tab
3. Click 'Add a New Sub-Organiser'
- This sets up a new bantu Workspace account for your Sub-Organiser(s) using their email address, a password you can set for them, and the remaining fields to fill in, as seen below:
Tip: If you wish to generate a random password, just check the box 'Generate a Random Password?'.
Note: If your Sub-Organiser has a bantu Workspace account before, you should use 'Add an Existing Sub-Organiser' instead.
4. Once done, click 'Add Sub-Organiser'
- An email containing the invitation link will be automatically sent to the email address used to add the new Sub-Organiser
- Upon clicking on the invitation link, the Sub-Organiser will receive an email containing the login credentials you have set for them and you will see his/her record in your list of Sub-Organiser at the bottom of the page
5. Scroll down to page bottom to see the list of all your Sub-Organiser(s)
- This list of Sub-Organisers will have bantu Workspace accounts, without the 'Manage My Organisation' tab that you have
- Sub-Organisers' accounts will only have contact data if there are projects under their management, which can either be created themselves or transferred to them
- You can view, edit, remove and manage permissions for your Sub-Organisers, as seen below:
- 'Remove': All the data in that account for both project and contacts involved will be automatically transferred to your account
- 'Manage Permissions': You can turn off certain features for your Sub-Organisers, such as the ability to import or export contact data
Troubleshooting:
Q: The email verification link sent to my Sub-Organiser is expired, what should I do?
A: Each email invite is only valid for 48 hours. If the email verification link is not clicked within 48 hours, the Main Organiser can simply re-add the user as a new Sub-Organiser (Refer to Step 3).
