Before you begin:
Before you export your data, make sure you are familiar with how to filter your contact data first.
Instructions:
There are 3 ways you can export contact data:
- A Project
- Manage my Account
- Manage my Organisation (for Main Organiser only)
If you would like to export project related data, the following reports would be more relevant:
- Export information that includes specific project participation details and attendance data across ALL projects and ALL contacts in your organisation
- Export information that includes specific project participation details and attendance data across a single project's contacts
This article will be focused on the first 3 ways: Exporting data from a project, 'Manage my Account' and 'Manage my Organisation'.
Exporting contact data, hours, and projects
Navigate to any of the data tables you wish to export from (individual projects / Manage my Account / Manage my Organisation).
1. Apply the filters if you wish to export only a sub-set of the contacts
2. Once done, select all contacts by:
- Checking the first checkbox on the top left of the data table
- Clicking on "Click here to select all rows from the entire table" once the button pops up
3. Click on "Export" by hovering on the "..." button
4. The selected information will be exported into an Excel file
Note that for this export, it will export ALL personal information of your contacts together with individual statistics. In addition:
- If you export from a Project, you will see the total hours for each participant in that project
- If you export from Manage my Account, you will export total hours + projects across ALL projects belonging to your organiser account
- If you export from Manage my Organisation, you will export total hours + projects across ALL projects and ALL accounts in the organisation
