Things to take note:

  • Taking attendance for participants helps Organisers account for the participation of the entire event — With our attendance taking app, Organisers can now mark attendance on the go!
  • Make sure that the participants for the event have been confirmed by approving before proceeding with attendance taking

Instructions:

1. On your bantu Workspace Dashboard, click 'Manage Project' on the project that you want to mark attendance for

2. Click on the 'Attendance Link' button

  • A project attendance link will be generated for that project — It can be used in both your desktop and mobile phone
    • It is optimised for mobile use and can be easily accessed using a mobile device

3. Copy the link and send it to your Organisers to mark attendance

  • This is a mobile optimised link - this link works on if you open it on your mobile phone, or on your laptop/computer
  • If you set password for the attendance link, you can copy and send it to your Organisers as well

4. At the attendance page, select the date which you are marking attendance for

5. Select the timeslot and role you want to mark attendance for

6. Click on the yellow question mark on the participant name you want to mark as 'Attended'

  • Once done, his/her status should change from a yellow question mark to a green tick as shown below:

  • Upon being marked present, the hours for that timeslot would be added automatically to the participants' 'Hours served' on bantu Workspace

Note: These hours add up to the 'Total Hours Tracked' in the 'Manage My Account' tab and 'Grand Total of Hours Logged' in the 'Manage My Organisation' tab.
