Before you begin:
This article explains the possible reasons why the email verification code was not sent to you.
Things to take note:
- An email verification code is sent to new users when they have registered for a new Community Portal account — Verifying your account confirms your account registration
- You have to verify your account before you can sign up for projects — If you choose to verify later, you will be prompted to verify your account when signing up for projects, as seen below:
- There will also be a prompt at the top of the page reminding you to do so, as seen below:
Instructions:
1. The email could be in your junk or spam folder
- Sometimes, the email verification code could end up in the junk or spam folder — Do check your junk or spam folder
2. You used an email account which does not belong to you
- The verification code is only sent to the unique email address you provided — This is to ensure the security of users who signed up on the Community Portal
3. The email account was invalid
- Please check that you have entered the correct email address and that your email account is active
