What happens when your organisation is deactivated on bantu Workspace?


1. All Main Organiser and Sub Organiser Workspace accounts will be deactivated

  • Take note: Main Organisers and Sub Organisers can still access their profiles on bantu.life if they previously created an account on https://bantu.life/


2. All Contacts and information from the Main Organiser and Sub Organiser accounts will be deleted from database

  • No Contact data and information will remain in their organisation’s Main Organiser’s and Sub-Organiser’s accounts


3. Additionally, the following Organisation Data will be deleted from all our systems: 

  • Contacts associated with Organisation: Name, Email Address, Custom Fields, etc.
  • Project Information: Project Description, location, Social media links, About Organisation, brief project description, project’s area of interest, tags, project’s official website, Community Portal Project Page link
  • Organisation Information: About us, Contact Us,  Social media links, Causes supported, Organisation address, in Community Portal Organisation Page link 
  • All Associated Sub Organisers’ information in the Organisation 


What happens to the Contacts in my organisation that have a bantu Portal account on https://bantu.life/?


1. Upon deactivation of your organisation account, these information will be retained:

  1. Organisation Name & Logo
  2. Projects & User data of Community Portal users
  3. Attendance data i.e. hours of Community Portal users
  4. Roles & Skills of Community Portal users
  5. Community Portal users involvement with project
  6. Project Period, Title & Image


What this means for all Contacts with a bantu.life account:


2. Any persons with a bantu.life account will retain: 

  • All hours previously contributed to your organisation e.g. X hours 
  • A record of all Projects they previously participated in with your organisation i.e. project card
  • Badges unlocked with contributed hours to their organisation’s projects
  • Number of roles involved  



3. Any persons with a bantu.life account will not be able to access the organisation page  if they followed them previously
